Working Structure Fire

Today at 10:20am Mahwah Fire was requested to the Fardale section of town for a structure fire on Chapel Road. The first arriving chief had reported that was nothing showing from the outside. Upon further investigation he reported a smoke condition, and a possible basement fire. Units from multiple fire companies responded and quickly extinguished a small fire in the crawlspace. A FAST Team from Wyckoff also responded. All units returned quarters after about 2 hours.

We would like to thank all of our VOLUNTEERS who continue to do great work and responded to both today’s and yesterday’s fire. The Mahwah Fire Department and also Mahwah EMS are 100% volunteer.
